The Classes We Recommend to Get Started?
Basic Yoga- Basic Yoga is designed for anyone new to yoga or looking to get back to the basics. Class introduce poses to be familiar with them in the body through alignment and with the mind through terminology. You will explore ways to build strength and flexibility for the body as well as breathing exercises to understand why the breath is so important in your yoga practice. This class is Hatha Based. (Wednesday 7:30pm)
Gentle Yoga-Gentle Yoga with Meditation or Yin is appropriate for those who are looking for a soft, nurturing, slow-paced, well supported, relaxing practice. Class is great for beginners or anyone looking for therapeutic benefits of yoga. This class is either offered with Meditation or Yin. (Tuesday/Thursday 6:15pm)
Restorative with Meditation-Restorative Yoga with Meditation is a cooling practice that target the connective tissue and ligaments in the body holding poses for longer periods of time. Props are used to ease into the body as support for full relaxation. In addition to the yin poses, meditation and/or breath work are added as additional rest for the body & mind. You will leaved refreshed, relaxed and renewed. (Sundays at 10:00am)
Slow Flow-Slow Flow Vinyasa Yoga is a slower pace class, mindfully moving and breathing while holding poses longer. You will explore your edge, yet still feel a relaxed and renewed experience. This class is geared toward beginners or those looking to hold poses longer building muscle strength. Some classes offer Meditation and are heated-warm-80-85/hot-90. (Monday & Wednesday-9:30am., Saturday-10am)
