This class is appropriate for all practitioner that have had some yoga practice (7-10 classes) and know how to modify or embellish. Please note: some classes are heated (warm-80-85). Yoga Nidra-Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep, but the practice is actually one of awakening in every level of the being. This class begins with gentle movements and breathing exercises to put you in the deepest possible state of relaxation, followed by long periods of time spent reclined on the back, with the use of props, where you are guided through a specific form of Meditation maintaining full consciousness releasing muscular, emotional and mental tension. Kundalini Yoga & Meditation-Enjoy a “light” kundalini yoga class. Learn breathing techniques to effect and manage different states of consciousness, relaxation, and well-being. Then we will move into deep relaxation with a Paiste Gong. The gong is a beautiful reinforced vibration that impacts the body and its meridians. It releases blocks, reduces tension and clears the mind. The gong creates deep relaxation by releasing you from the torrent of thoughts your mind creates. After the gong, we use mantra to remind us that the entire universe was built on sound, on vibration.
