Prenatal Yoga

A yoga practice that offers expectant women a unique opportunity to strengthen their bodies and deepen their connection and relationship with both themselves and their baby, through supportive guidance of postures, movement, breath, meditation, and relaxation. Prenatal yoga also offers therapeutic applications for common aches and pains of pregnancy as well as specific exercises to strengthen, tone, and support the uterus and pelvic floor. Through this practice, women will also have the opportunity to enhance their preparation for childbirth and expand their capacity to respond to physiological and emotional changes. For those who choose, this open and safe setting affords you a chance to connect with other women and the freedom to discuss and share any thoughts, feelings, or concerns that may arise during the transformation of pregnancy.
No previous yoga experience is necessary, all levels are welcome.

Classes are held once A month at 10:30a.
